Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2025

Our Core Privacy Principle

DailyDots is designed to be your private space. Our policy is simple: we do not collect or store your personal data.

  • All Data is Stored Locally: Everything you create in DailyDots—your tasks, jots, and timer history—is stored only on your device. We cannot see, access, or share it.
  • No Account Required: You can use the app immediately without creating an account or providing any personal information.
  • No Tracking or Analytics: The app does not contain any third-party analytics or tracking tools that monitor your personal usage.

Information You Voluntarily Provide

If you choose to contact us for feedback or support via email, we will have your email address and any information you provide in your message. We will only use this to communicate with you and improve the app.

Your Data Ownership & Security

You are the only owner of your data. We believe security starts with privacy, which is why DailyDots is designed to give you full control.

  • Private by Design: Your data never leaves your device. It is not sent to our servers or any third party, which is the most effective way to keep it private.
  • Device-Level Encryption: Your device's operating system (iOS or Android) automatically encrypts all app data at rest. By using a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, you ensure this powerful, system-level encryption protects your DailyDots data.
  • No Access for Us: We have no way to access, view, or decrypt the information stored within your app. You hold the only key: your device and its passcode.

Future Features & Policy Changes

If we introduce features in the future that require data handling, such as cloud sync, we will update this policy and notify you before any changes take effect. Your privacy will always be our priority.
