Overview

Paul Contreras ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. DailyDots is a habit and task tracker where you log "dots" (tasks and goals), build routines, and track your progress on a calendar. Your dots, tags, descriptions, and attachments are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your personal content.

Data We Collect

DailyDots is designed to collect as little data as possible. Here is a summary of our data practices based on Apple's App Privacy guidelines:

• Contact Information (Name, Email, Phone): Not collected.
• Location Data: Not collected.
• User Content (Dots, Tags, Descriptions, Photos, Attachments): Not collected by us. Stored locally on your device only.
• Usage Data & Diagnostics: Collected anonymously to understand how the app is used and to improve it (see TelemetryDeck below). Not linked to your identity.
• Identifiers: An anonymous, randomly generated identifier is used for analytics. It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Purchases: Collected (anonymous purchase history only, for the one-time DailyDots Pro unlock). This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.

How We Use Data

We use anonymous usage data to understand which features are helpful and to fix bugs and improve performance. We use anonymous purchase data to unlock and verify DailyDots Pro features. We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or to identify you personally.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties because we do not collect it in the first place. Limited anonymous data is shared only with the service providers described below.

TelemetryDeck

• Purpose: Anonymous, privacy-focused analytics to understand app usage trends (e.g., which screens are used).
• Data Shared: Anonymous usage signals and a randomly generated, salted identifier.
• Linked to You: No.
• Used for Tracking: No.

RevenueCat

• Purpose: Managing and validating the one-time DailyDots Pro unlock purchase via Apple In-App Purchase.
• Data Shared: Anonymous Apple App Store transaction receipts.
• Linked to You: No.
• Used for Tracking: No.

Note: All payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive or have access to your credit card information or Apple ID details.

Data Retention and Storage

All of your dots, routines, tags, notes, and attachments are stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers to sync or store this content. If you delete the DailyDots app, this local data is immediately deleted from your device. Anonymous analytics and purchase data are retained by TelemetryDeck and RevenueCat according to their own privacy policies.

Security

Your content's security is supported by the iOS operating system and your device's built-in encryption and passcode protections. Because your dots and routines never leave your device, they are not exposed to server-side breaches.

Your Choices & Rights

Because your content is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all DailyDots data at any time by uninstalling the application from your iPhone. DailyDots Pro is a one-time purchase, so there is no subscription to manage or cancel.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. DailyDots does not collect contact information, location data, or any personal information from any user, regardless of age.

International Transfers

We do not collect or store your personal content on external servers, so it is not transferred internationally by us. Anonymous analytics and purchase data may be processed by TelemetryDeck and RevenueCat on servers located in other countries, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

App Tracking Transparency

DailyDots does not track you. We do not collect data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, and we do not serve targeted advertisements.

Push Notifications

DailyDots may use local device notifications to remind you about your dots and daily routines. These notifications are scheduled locally on your iPhone. We do not use remote push notifications and do not collect push notification tokens.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
